Why You Should Try This Healthy Cake ?
Firstly, if you truly want to avoid sugar, or are trying to avoid it, I won't just talk about how sugar damages the skin's structure and accelerates skin aging, because it doesn't only affect the skin. It damages many organs in our body system. Negative effects include fatty liver disease, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and insulin resistance, and cognitive impairment. Those who frequently consume sugar, meaning those who always eat refined and pastry-style sweets when they crave something sweet, need to be careful about this. I'm talking about abnormally excessive consumption. I also make low-sugar desserts at home 1-2 times a month. I take care of my health regarding sugar. My healthy recipes provide the necessary natural sugar and help me maintain my health. My healthy recipes are additive-free, natural, and very simple. Let's move on to the recipe for my Cocoa Healthy Cake.
Ingredients for Chocolate Fit Cake
1 egg
1 cup milk (you can use oat or almond milk for a lighter option.)
1 medium apple
1 medium banana
1 cup ground oats
1 packet baking powder (I used half, that's enough)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder(Tablespoon)
raisins (as much as you like)
You can use dates as a natural sweetener. I don't use honey or molasses in baked desserts, I don't recommend them. But you can use them if you really like them.
I used sesame seeds on top of the cake and raisins inside. You can also use your favorite dried fruits and nuts. For example, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, dried apricots, etc. Instructions for Making the Recipe1. If you are using dates and they are hard, soak them in hot water. If the dates are soft, you don't need to soak them in hot water; you can mash them with a fork. Once the dates are soft, you can mash them.
2. If you have a food processor or blender, slice the fruit and blend it all together: egg, banana, apple, and baking powder. If you don't have a food processor, first mash the egg and banana together with a fork and mix. Grate the apple and add the baking powder, then mix everything together.
3. Add cocoa, raisins, and oats to the mixture and stir. I don't use a blender for thes ingredients; I mix them by spoon because it gives a better consistency.
4. Now the cake sauce is ready. Prepare the baking dish and pour the sauce over it. I didn't use parchment paper in the baking dish. I greased it with a little butter and poured the sauce over it. I sprinkled sesame seeds on top of the cake, but you can add whatever you like, such as walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and dried fruit.
5. I put my cake in the oven. You don't need to preheat the oven, but you can if you want. The cake will bake in 25 minutes at 180 degrees. Enjoy! Stay healthy and with love.

Health Note
While bakery-style cocoa cakes or ready-made chocolate loaf cakes contain high amounts of white flour, processed liquid/solid fats, and high amounts of refined sugar, this recipe has completely clean ingredients. The natural sweetness of apple and banana together gives the cake a wonderful aroma and moisture; thus, you don't need to add extra sugar. The antioxidant power of cocoa, the digestion-friendly fiber structure of oats, and the protein of eggs combine to make it a great tea time alternative that keeps blood sugar balanced and keeps you feeling full for a long time.
