Peanut Butter and Chocolate Sauce Healthy Cookies - Gluten-Free - Sugar-Free

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Sauce Healthy Cookies

Sometimes I crave dark chocolate. But I don't want to eat it plain. I want to show you this wonderful combination of chocolate and cookies that goes well with tea and coffee. The bottom of the cookie is pistachio butter, and the top is dark chocolate. It's both layered and really delicious. It's a great cookie that kids will love, and you can eat it while dieting; it doesn't require many ingredients. I usually make them to have with coffee during the day. They need to be consumed within 3 days. You can keep them in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator. If you're very busy, you can make extra cookies on your day off and store them in sealed bags in the freezer for 3-6 months. If you're going to store the cookies in the freezer, make sure they are completely cold. You can take the cookies out of the freezer and heat them in the oven whenever you want.

Why I Recommend Making These Healthy Chocolate Sauce Cookies, What Are Their Ingredients?

They are both low-ingredient and suitable for gluten-free and sugar-free diets. If you buy your dark chocolate from a reliable source with clean ingredients, you most likely have a high-quality dark chocolate with low sugar and high cocoa content. I also believe I'm using the right pistachio butter because its ingredients are natural sugars, meaning honey + pistachios. If you don't have pistachio butter, you can just use dark chocolate. Or, if you have diabetes and are sensitive about it, you can use classic pistachio/peanut butter as an alternative to pistachio butter. You might also be allergic to pistachios. Therefore, you can try just dark chocolate. I also think they are an energy-boosting cookie for those who exercise. Let's also talk about the general benefits of dark chocolate.

Main Benefits
Powerful Antioxidant Source: Fights free radicals in the body, reducing oxidative stress and preventing cell damage.

Improves Brain Function: Increases blood flow to the brain, supporting focus, memory, and cognitive performance.

Reduces Stress and Promotes Happiness: Stimulates the release of endorphins and serotonin (happiness hormones), lowering cortisol levels.

Regulates Insulin Resistance: Dark chocolate with a high cocoa content can help balance blood sugar by helping the body use insulin better.

Dark chocolate should be consumed in accordance with your own diet and calorie count. I used 1 teaspoon of dark chocolate on top of one of my cookies.

Ingredients for Healthy Chocolate Sauce Cookies:

5-6 Regular Dates
3 tablespoons Cocoa (gluten-free option available)
Half a cup Oat Flour
3 tablespoons Tahini
Half a packet of Baking Powder (optional)

Topping: Half a packet of Dark Chocolate
Pistachio Butter
Pistachio Butter (I used about 1 teaspoon per cookie)

You don't have to use cocoa (optional)
The softer the dates, the softer the consistency will be.

How to Make Healthy Chocolate Sauce Cookies

1. First, if the dates are hard, soak them in warm water for 5 minutes and then mash them.

2. Add the oats, cocoa, tahini, and baking powder and mix. If the consistency is too soft to handle, you can increase the amount of oats.

3. If you have a food processor, you can remove the pits from the dates and process all the ingredients together. If the consistency is too soft, you can add more oats.

4. Once the oat mixture is ready, take a ball and shape it into a round shape. Arrange them on a baking sheet.

5. Press down on the center of each cookie with your thumb to create a small indentation. This is because we will be adding peanut butter and dark chocolate to it.

6. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

7. While the cookies are baking, let's melt the dark chocolate. Boil some water in a kettle. Break the dark chocolate into pieces in an empty bowl. Place this bowl on an empty plate. Pour the hot water into the plate. This way, the hot water will reach the bottom of the bowl and melt the chocolate. (You can use another method to melt chocolate if you have one.)

8. Once the cookies are baked, let them cool slightly. After the cookies have cooled, I spread pistachio paste in the indentations and sprinkled 1 teaspoon of melted dark chocolate on top.

9. You can use other sauces you like instead of pistachio paste. I recommend letting the chocolate sauce on the cookies cool down a bit before consuming them. Enjoy your meal, stay healthy and with love.
